Job Description

In this role, we’re looking for a supply chain professional who will assist in managing the procurement, Logistics and fulfilment aspect of our business. You will be a key player on the EcoCart team with increasing ownership and oversight of the shipments, vendors, relationships with our fulfillment centres, and inventory and master data management in general. If you’re passionate about global logistics and master product data, understand 3PL, and have a passion for supply chain in general, this role might just be right for you!


  • Plan and track shipments from manufacturers to 3PL/owned warehouses and between 3PLs (request quotes from freight forwarders, organize shipment paperwork between manufacturers, freight forwarders and customs brokers).

  • Ensure products are QA tested and recorded before becoming pickable stock at 3PL.

  • Coordinate the proper receipt of products with 3PL partners and ensure that POs are received correctly in Quickbooks and in other platforms.

  • Ensure invoices (freight, customs, product) are correct before submitting them for payment.

  • Manage reverse logistics of return products stored at 3PLs returned back to warehouses.

  • Inventory cycle and physical counts, serial number management.

  • Review inventory for all EcoCart SKUs (1st or 3rd party hardware) regularly for low or out-of-stocks and communicate/escalate issues in a timely manner. Update stores and any other portals with backorder information.

  • Develop necessary KPIs and reporting models to track performance and set targets. Analyze and identify factors contributing to variances of KPI targets.

  • Work with the Order Management team to solve order related issues with 3PLs.


  • Related work experience or equivalent education and experience in Logistics, Inventory, and/or other areas of Supply Chain Management

  • Knowledge of compliant international logistics procedures, Incoterms, and cross-border documentation

  • Ability to successfully source, review and negotiate freight and other quotes

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, changing and collaborative environment

  • Experience in NetSuite (or other ERP) and familiarity and even obsession with technology, the technology space and hardware are assets

  • High attention to detail, passion for working with numbers

  • Passion for retail, commerce and merchant success

  • Ability to travel domestic & international (when safe to do so)
